Tiwa Savage (born Tiwatope Omolara Savage on February 5, 1980) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, actress, and one of Africa’s most influential Afrobeats artists. Born in Isale Eko, Lagos, she moved to London at age 11 and later earned a degree from the University of Kent before studying music at Berklee College of Music in the United States.
